April 16, 2026
From April 15 to 17, 2026, Moscow hosted the 5th International Conference organized by the Russian Academy of Education. Themed "Lessons of Unity," this year’s event was dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, serving as a leading forum for integrating scientific research with practical application. The conference agenda centred on critical global issues, including interethnic unity, territorial demography, and the development of a unified educational system.
The International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA (ISEC) was represented by Dr. Lilit Asoyan, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Management. Dr. Asoyan delivered a compelling presentation titled "The Activity of Public Organizations as a Factor in the Formation and Strengthening of Interethnic Unity." During her speech, Dr. Asoyan noted that: "Public organizations are a vital tool for fostering interethnic unity. They serve not only as custodians and preservers of cultural memory but also as platforms for authentic dialogue and the building of mutual trust. Through these functions, they significantly contribute to interethnic understanding and the strengthening of communal ties."
Following her presentation, Dr. Asoyan engaged with attendees during a roundtable discussion titled "Great Unity through Small Actions: Experience in Implementing Projects Aimed at Building Interethnic Unity," where she provided detailed insights and answered questions regarding practical strategies for fostering national solidarity.
