About Us

The Student Scientific Society of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (hereinafter referred to as the Center) (hereinafter referred to as the SSS) is a voluntary academic association of the Center’s students, including master’s students, applicants, and postgraduate (PhD) students.

The SSS operates in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, the Charter of the Center, and the Charter of the SSS.

The Charter of the SSS and any amendments thereto are approved by the Scientific Council of the Center upon the submission of the Chairperson of the SSS.

The full official name of the Center’s SSS is:

The abbreviated name is:

The purpose of the Center’s SSS is to promote the scientific, creative, and spiritual development of students.

For the implementation of its goals and objectives (see the SSS Charter), as well as long-term programs, the SSS may make use of the support of the Center.

Any student whose GPA exceeds 16 points on a 20-point scale, who accepts the SSS Charter, and who is willing to contribute through their activities to the achievement of the statutory goals of the SSS, may become a member of the SSS.

The governing body of the SSS includes the Chairperson, Vice-Chairpersons, the Secretary, and the heads of committees.

The Chairperson, Vice-Chairpersons, and Secretary of the SSS are elected by the SSS through a secret ballot by a simple majority vote of its members.
