Universite Toulouse 3-Paul Sabatier (UT3-PS): Erasmus+ Success Story

March 22, 2017

In the frames of Erasmus+ Credit Mobility the first-year students of "Informatics and Computer Engineering" Department of ISEC NAS RA Artur Mkoyan, Hakob Hakobyan, Hovhannes Vrtanesyan and Vardan Baghdasaryan and second-year students Anush Hakobyan, David Yedigaryan, Eliza Gyulgyulyan and Nune Ghazaryan studied the first semester of 2016-2017 academic year at Universite Toulouse 3-Paul Sabatier (UT3-PS) and are now back to Armenia. Here is what they tell us about their impressions.
All the students outline one of the advantages of the French education model – combination of practical lessons and assignments with theoretical lectures, and implementation of team and group projects after a series of lectures. During studies more focus was on self-studies, self-development and acquisition of practical skills.
First-year student Hakob Hakobyan valued teaching such interdisciplinary subjects as business management, business planning, job interviews and CV writing skills.
'French lecturers told us they didn't assess our knowledge, but our abilities to do project over a certain period of time, and this is what we are required to do in real life,' the students mention.
The students have returned with new ideas and initiatives, which they will attempt to make true during their studies here.
