Recognition of Foreign Qualifications In Center of Discussions

On 21 December, the NICARM (National Information Center for Academic Recognition and Mobility) organized a training course of the representatives of different HEIs on the issues in the current recognition of foreign qualifications and the policy run in this direction, where Head of Foreign Affairs, ISEC NAS RA, Arusyak Harutyunyan also took part in. The NICARM is responsible for providing information on Armenian and International higher education system to the local and foreign organizations and affiliates and to promote the integration of Armenia in the common European education area ensuring fair and transparent recognition of the qualifications, thus promoting in and out of Armenia. The interest to the topic was fascinating, there were many discussions specially on the case studies and examples presented, particularly when discussing the cases of submitting false documents by the applicants. Recognition issues are essential in the current higher education context and trends, including the massification, diversification, internationalisation and mobility. At the end of this event, Head of Foreign Affairs, ISEC NAS RA, Arusyak Harutyunyan was awarded with a special prize for her active participation.
