Graduates of the Department of Law of ISEC NAS RA Received Their Diplomas

On September 23, 2025, a solemn diploma awarding ceremony was held for the master’s graduates in Law of the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA (ISEC NAS RA).
The event was opened with a congratulatory speech by the Director of ISEC NAS RA, Candidate of Economic Sciences Armen Sargsyan, who noted: “Dear graduates, this is not only your personal achievement but also our common success, since each of your accomplishments enriches the scientific and educational potential of our country.”
The Director reminded that the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia is a national value, a symbol of the scientific and intellectual strength of our people, and ISEC, as an institution operating within the Academy, carries these honorable traditions by educating specialists who, with their knowledge and principles, are to serve society and the homeland.
A. Sargsyan particularly emphasized the high mission of the legal profession, urging graduates to always live up to the title of Master of Law. He underlined: “Dear graduates, you have chosen a difficult but honorable path. To be a lawyer means to assume responsibility before society and the state. You become the specialists who, with your knowledge and value system, are called to defend justice, strengthen the rule of law, and contribute to the development of our country. I am confident that the knowledge, experience, and value-based atmosphere you gained in our Center will become a solid foundation for your future professional success. May every step on this new page of your life be confident and purposeful. Always remember that the strength of a lawyer lies not only in the knowledge of the law but also in principledness and loyalty to justice. Congratulations to all of you on this important day. I wish that every initiative of yours will serve Armenia and the triumph of justice.”
The Director also expressed gratitude to the faculty of the Department of Law, represented by the Head of the Department Simon Babayan, for their high-quality teaching and dedicated work.
Next, the Head of the Department of Law of ISEC NAS RA, Candidate of Legal Sciences Simon Babayan, delivered a congratulatory address, in which he shared the advice of an experienced professional and senior colleague, aimed at helping graduates build their future path more wisely. S. Babayan began his speech by thanking the graduates for their proper participation in the learning process. He also expressed gratitude to the administration of ISEC for providing an atmosphere of academic freedom and for effectively organizing the educational process.
Addressing the graduates already as colleagues, S. Babayan urged: “At the educational level, you have reached the highest point of higher education. From now on, the path will not be educational but scientific — obtaining an academic degree through doctoral studies or postgraduate research. You have chosen a profession that will require you to learn constantly, every single day. This is the only way to always correspond to the title of Master of Law. Whatever professional path you choose, you will be learning daily, and in this regard, we will still meet on various platforms — in the different fields of law you will choose.”
The graduates also delivered words of gratitude, emphasizing that the past two years had greatly contributed to the formation and development of their professional knowledge. They expressed readiness to continue self-education and to uphold the reputation of the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA with honor.
