Presentation of Commemorative Medals, Certificates and Letters of Gratitude Held at the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia

On June 16, 2025, an extended meeting of course leaders with the participation of representatives of the Student Council and the Student Scientific Society was held at the International Scientific and Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. The event was attended by the staff of the International Scientific and Educational Center: Director Armen Sargsyan, Dean Atom Mkhitaryan, Head of the Public Relations and Career Department Heghine Melkonyan and Specialist of the Public Relations and Career Department Viktorya Sarjanyan.

There were four issues on the agenda:

• Hearing the annual reports of the chairmen of the Student Council and the Student Scientific Society,

• Discussion of upcoming events among students,

• Presentation of diplomas and letters of gratitude to master's students for participation and support in the events of the Student Council and the Student Society,

• Presentation of commemorative medals to students.

The reports of the Student Council Chairperson Liana Gyurjyan and the Student Scientific Society Chairperson Hripsime Khacharyan demonstrated that the Center’s student organizations carried out fruitful activities in the past academic year, demonstrating the best example of student autonomy and contributing to the Center’s recognition and good scientific and educational reputation.

The invited meeting was especially memorable because for the first time in the history of the Scientific and Educational Center of the NAS RA, the Center’s students were awarded personalized medals. For their effective activities, organizational initiatives and professional achievements in the Student Scientific Society of the ISEC NAS RA, Hripsime Khachatryan, Liana Gyurjyan, Lusine Mkhitaryan, Narek Sahakyan and Margarita Voskanyan received commemorative medals.

The Center’s students who supported and actively participated in organizing scientific, educational and cultural events were awarded letters of gratitude and certificates.

Director of the ISEC NAS RA Armen Sargsyan, welcoming and congratulating the participants, especially noted: “We always attach special importance to scientific, educational and cultural events organized by student structures, since they create a favorable environment for the formation of new collaborations and projects. I would like to emphasize that in recent years, joint events of the Student Scientific Society and the Student Council have once again proven that by combining efforts, it is possible to implement the most interesting and innovative initiatives at a high level. Their success is due not only to the individual contribution of each of you, but also to joint, teamwork. I hope that with your activities you will always maintain the high reputation of the Center. I congratulate all those awarded for their dedication, hard work and responsibility.” Dean of the ISEC NAS RA Atom Mkhitaryan also delivered a congratulatory speech, wishing the participants new successes and professional achievements. The event concluded with a speech of thanks from the students, accompanied by a commitment to emphasize and remain true to the scientific and educational values of the Center.
