AFISHE Project Dissemination Meeting at SNAU

On September 15–16, 2025, the 6th meeting of the AFISHE Erasmus+ project (Development of Aquaculture and Fisheries Education for Green Deal in Armenia and Ukraine: FROM EDUCATION TO ECOLOGY) was hosted by Sumy National Agrarian University (SNAU), Ukraine in an online format, bringing together project partners from Armenia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Portugal, and Croatia.
On the first day, Ukrainian partners from SNAU and NUWEE presented their project outcomes and future plans, highlighting achievements in aquaculture and fisheries education, as well as efforts to create a sustainable academic environment and strengthen the partner network. Stakeholders from Ukraine’s aquaculture and fisheries sector also joined an online panel to discuss current challenges and perspectives.
The second day focused on project management and reporting. EACEA Project Officer Emmanuel Gerth outlined the information needed for the final report, while coordinator Garegin Hambardzumyan led discussions on quality assurance, financial management, and impact. Importantly, partners also discussed the upcoming final AFISHE conference to be held in Yerevan, Armenia, on November 5–7, 2025, which will mark the culmination of the project.
