The scientific and practical forum "Current challenges of Eurasian integration in the social-humanitarian sphere" has been launched

On November 24, the scientific and practical forum "Current challenges of Eurasian integration in the social-humanitarian sphere" has been launched at the Presidency of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.

The discussion platform brought together rectors, vice-rectors of state universities from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, heads of the institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, leading scientists and experts, young researchers and students from Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Expert discussions, youth scientific session, projects and research presentations were also held within the framework of the forum.

The organizer of the forum was the State Academic University of Humanities, the main partner of which is the Regional Academy of Russia in Armenia. The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.

The participants of the session "Social-humanitarian component of Eurasian integration: experience of Armenia, Belarus and Russia" were welcomed by Armen Sargsyan, Director of the International Scientific-Educational Centre of the NAS RA, who made a meaningful speech, presenting the activities of ISEC NAS RA, which provides Master's and postgraduate education. "One of the important preconditions for effective learning process is the fact that the Chairs are located in the RA NAS institutes, which provides students the opportunity to conduct practical research and acquire practical skills along with theoretical knowledge", noted A. Sargsyan. He also referred to the Center's international cooperation agreements with a number of leading international universities, including universities of member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. In his speech A. Sargsyan concluded that the Center was ready to discuss the elaboration and development of joint academic projects aimed at strengthening and advancing the unified academic Eurasian space.
