Ecocenter PhD Students Conducting Research at University of Naples Federico II

From February 15 to May 5, 2022, within the framework of the Erasmus + K107 program, four PhD students from the Center for Ecological-Noosphere Studies NAS RA (the Ecocenter), Departments of ''Environmental Studies and Geochemistry'' and ''Radioecology'' - Nona Movsisyan, Norik Harutyunyan, Astghik Gevorgyan and Varsenik Davtyan are doing their 3-month research at the University of Naples Federico II in Naples in the Department of Earth Science, Environment and Resources.
During the project in the framework of their thesis, PhD students are expected to do part of their research on the development of geochemical and radioecological data, i.e. statistical analysis of data on the distribution of potentially toxic elements in different environmental components (mountains, urban areas, industrial zones, agricultural areas), statistical analysis of data on the distribution of radionuclide activity levels by the application of geochemical research instruments.
