ISEC Lecturers Donated Their Authored Professional Books

February 24, 2026

The International Scientific-Educational Center of the NAS RA (ISEC), ahead of Book Giving Day, announced a Facebook competition to donate professional books authored by lecturers from various departments of the Center. The competition was initiated and organized by the ISEC Public Relations and Career Department.

On February 23 of this year, the ceremonial closing and award event of the competition took place in the ISEC hall. Among those present were the authors of the books, the winners, and the heads of ISEC departments.

During the closing event, Head of the ISEC Public Relations and Career Department, Heghine Melkonyan, presented several aspects of the ideological and organizational components of the competition, also highlighting the broad public response it received. As a result of the competition, 24 participants received professional books signed by the authors. The geographical distribution of the winners covered six regions of the Republic of Armenia.

“The competition was made possible thanks to the prompt and professional response of the heads of ISEC departments, the valuable and multidisciplinary books presented, and the willingness and generosity of the authors — in other words, thanks to the shared value system toward professional literature at ISEC and effective cooperation. We hope that reading the donated books will contribute to the development of the respective professional fields,” H. Melkonyan noted in her speech.

The books were presented by the authors or representatives of the ISEC administrative staff.

The event was held in a warm academic atmosphere, building new bridges for developing reader–author and public–ISEC cooperation around new ideas.

The participants expressed particular satisfaction with both the format of marking Book Giving Day and the quality of the competition’s organization.
