Director of the International Scientific-Educational Center, Armen Sargsyan, as a participant in the "School of Victory" International Assembly

April 23, 2025

From April 21-23 of this year, the Russian Academy of Education organized its 4th International Assembly titled "School of Victory," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

During the assembly, online speeches were delivered by officials from the Russian Federation’s sectoral agencies and leaders of educational institutions from the CIS countries.

The director of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the NAS RA, Armen Sargsyan, also delivered a welcoming speech. On behalf of the Center and himself, he welcomed all participants of the "School of Victory" international assembly and particularly noted: “This event, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, is not only a tribute to the great feat of our ancestors but also an important scientific-pedagogical platform for researchers, educators, education administrators, students, and young scientists from various countries.

The choice of the assembly's theme, “School of Victory,” is deeply symbolic. The victory in the Great Patriotic War is not just a military feat but also the result of the cultivation of strength of spirit, which was formed in the Soviet school. The school that shaped individuals ready for self-sacrifice, labor, and service to the motherland.

Today, when the world faces global technological, ideological, and humanitarian challenges, we feel more than ever the importance of preserving our moral, cultural, and scientific sovereignty. It is on this solid foundation that educational strategies are built, capable of shaping a society living in both humanitarian and technological progress.

The assembly becomes an important platform for dialogue between generations and professional communities.

Armenia, like Russia, honors and preserves the memory of the feats of its generations. We are confident that education, based on respect for history, culture, and science, is a reliable foundation for peace, progress, and cooperation.

I wish the participants of the assembly productive work, inspiration, and new professional horizons”.
