A Series of Events Hosted by Armenian-American Guest Speaker Concludes at ISEC

In June of this year, the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (ISEC NAS RA) hosted Armenian-American economist, Professor Armine Shahoyan, Chair of the Department of Business Administration at the University of the Holy Cross, USA.

Professor Shahoyan actively participated in the annual international conference of ISEC, presenting her scientific report. According to the scheduled program, she further shared her professional and academic expertise through various events organized at the Center, including an open lecture, a masterclass, and interactive workshops. These sessions focused on international economic structures, andragogy (the American experience in adult education), distance and hybrid teaching methodologies, as well as the academic integration and potential of Artificial Intelligence.

The meetings drew a diverse audience, including ISEC graduate students, faculty members, alumni, and external stakeholders. Held in an atmosphere of active engagement and constructive exchange of academic practices, the events received overwhelmingly positive feedback from all participants.

On July 1st, a closing ceremony was held at ISEC, where certificates were officially awarded to the participants of the aforementioned events.

Expressing high appreciation for Professor Shahoyan's professional contribution and her willingness to share her expertise, the Director of ISEC, Armen Sargsyan, PhD in Economics, presented the guest speaker with a Certificate of Appreciation. In his remarks, Director Sargsyan noted: "I highly value the experience and knowledge that Professor Shahoyan has shared with the participants over the past month with such immense dedication. I hope this will prove beneficial in their future professional endeavors, and we look forward to exploring new opportunities for collaboration with Dr. Shahoyan."

Professor Shahoyan also shared her reflections, expressing gratitude for the high-level organization of her visit at ISEC. Furthermore, she expressed her readiness to ensure the continuity of this fruitful cooperation with the Center.

The closing ceremony was followed by a working discussion aimed at outlining future collaborative initiatives and directions.
