ISEC Holds the Next Session of the "AI in the Higher Education Environment" Seminar Series

On March 31, the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia (ISEC) held the next meeting in the "AI in the Higher Education Environment" seminar series. The session was dedicated to the effective application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in university management and organizational processes.

The seminar series was initiated by ISEC Director Armen Sargsyan, aiming to foster the implementation of digital solutions at the Center and enhance operational efficiency through modern technologies.

In his opening remarks, the Director emphasized the role of artificial intelligence in the university system, highlighting its broad potential for application in work processes. The session was conducted by Mariam Nigoyan, Assistant to the Director, who presented the practical potential of generative AI, particularly in the context of academic management. The discussion covered both general organizational toolkits and specific AI solutions tailored to various departments within the Center.

Representatives from ISEC’s administrative staff participated in the seminar, engaging in active discussions regarding the practical opportunities and limitations of these technologies. The meeting was held in a constructive and interactive atmosphere, featuring a targeted analysis of generative AI applications based on the unique needs of each department.

Concluding the meeting, it was decided to ensure the continuity of the series by progressively transitioning toward a practical implementation phase. This will include experimental testing, hands-on training, and the development of specific workplace-based case studies using AI tools.
