Meeting at the NAS RA Institute of History dedicated to Hrant Dink's Death Anniversary

On January 19, 2019 at the Institute of History of the NAS RA was held a meeting dedicated to the 12-year anniversary of Hrant Dink’s death, editor-in-chief of Istanbul-Armenian intellectual "Agos" paper. The meeting was organized by the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute of History of NAS RA , the Center for Human Rights and Genocide Studies, and the Student Scientific Society of NAS RA . The meeting opened Hamo Sukiasyan and  spoke  about the day, then he briefly presented the purpose of the event, and provided the platform with the presenters. During the meeting, they spoke about the contribution and role of Hrant Dink in Armenian-Turkish relations. The speakers were: scientific researcher of the Institute of History of NAS RA, Ph.D. Aram Saiyan and coordinator of the Hrant Dink Foundation's history programs, Vahagn Keshishyan. The students of the ISEC NAS RA and representatives of other HEIs took an active part in the discussions. Lilit Martirosyan, President of the Center for Human Rights and Genocide Studies, expressed hope that such meetings will continue as it is very important for our society to know the lives and activities of those devotees who have been able to preserve and disseminate national values.
