Erasmus+: Visit to Pedagogical University of Krakow

Within the frames of Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program, the ISEC delegation is in Pedagogical University of Cracow with the following members – Head of Foreign Affairs Department Arusyak Harutyunyan, lecturers of ISEC’s "Environmental Protection and Nature Management" Department David Pipoyan, Gayane Nersisyan and Vahagn Muradyan. On the first day of the visit, on 24 April, there was a meeting held with the academic and administrative staff of Institute of Geography of Pedagogical University of Cracow where the parties presented their universities and discusses the ways to deepen their collaboration. Then visits were organized to professional labs.

In the second part of the meeting, Vahagn Muradyan – lecturer of "Complex Geoecological Mapping" course at ISEC’s "Environmental Protection and Nature Management" Department held a lecture for Master’s students of Institute of Geography of Pedagogical University of Cracow on "Application of remote sensing data and GIS in assessment, monitoring and mapping of landscape-ecological situation". In the course of his lecture, Vahagn Muradyan presented the main methods for the initial processing of universe photos and the opportunities of the analysis of spatial data on the online platforms.

At the end of the first day, the ISEC delegation paid its tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide at the Armenian cross stone located in Cracow City with the participation of the Armenian community in Cracow.
