"China-Eurasia" international conference

On October 26-27,2018 the Institute of Oriental Studies of NAS RA, China-Eurasia Council for Political and Strategic Research and the Department of Oriental Studies o the ISEC NAS RA hosted International Conference "China-Eurasia" at NAS RA.
The conference was attended by scientists from Armenia, China, Russia, Georgia, Great Britain, Finland, Portugal, Ukraine, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, AUA.
The aim of the conference is to explore:
- Why and how does China deepen its role in the Eurasian continent,
- What goals does China pursue through the "One Belt, One Road" initiative on the Eurasian continent,
- What kind of political and economic developments are taking place from China to Western Eurasia and from the United States and Russia to Asia,
- Discuss the possibilities of being included in Armenia's "One Belt, One Road"
- The possibilities of improving the Armenian-Chinese relations in the present geopolitical situation.
The conference participants also visited Matenadaran.
