Arpimed to become new training and production base for students of International Scientific-Educational Center

The ISEC NAS RA attaches great importance to the training of specialists with practical research skills, emphasizing the need for cooperation between employers' organizations and educational institutions. On initiative of the Public Relations and Career Department of The ISEC NAS RA hosted “Arpimed” the staff of the Center on April 15, 2021. The latter is a modern Armenian pharmaceutical company with advanced trends in the development of the pharmaceutical market in accordance with international standards of quality management standards. The Arpimed package today includes more than 150 names of medicines that are in demand by specialists and trusted by consumers.
The company's products are successfully represented in a number of countries: Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, as well as Yemen. It should be noted that the volume of drug exports is growing year by year, the range is getting richer.
The director of "Arpimed" V. Ghazaryan received the guests. The director of the Center A. Sargsyan, Deputy Director for Educational Affairs E. Zargaryan, Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology of NAS RA A. Arakelyan, Head of "Chair of Pharmaceutical Chemistry" H. Aghababyan, lecturer of the same chair A. Ginosyan and Head of Career Department of Public Relations A. Shahazizyan attended the meeting. The parties welcomed such an opportunity, the strengthening of the education-science-production trilateral connection.
All possible options for cooperation were discussed, with the aim of concluding an internship memorandum of cooperation in the very near future, which will allow students who have chosen the relevant specialty of the center to have an internship in such a large company, and then replenish staff.
After the effective discussion, the director of "Arpimed" company V. Ghazaryan suggested the guests taking a tour of the company, got acquainted with the laboratories rich in modern equipment, the stages of drug production, disinfection, examination and packaging processes. They toured the storage areas, got acquainted with the ready-made medicines, creams, in general, the organization of work and production in the company. As a result of the newly formed cooperation, the students of the center will be constantly informed about the latest achievements in the pharmaceutical industry and will be able to make full use of their experience.
