The trip of ISEC students and graduates to the historical and cultural places of Armenia

July 5, 2023

On July 5, the graduates and students of the 2022-2023 academic year of the International Scientific-Educational Centre of NAS RA initiated a trip to Aragatsotn region to visit Amberd and Saghmosavank. This joint initiative of the Student Scientific Society and the Student Council, with the direct support of ISEC Public Relations and Career Department was launched to strengthen the graduates’ and students’ productive cooperation.

During the tour, the students conducted research studies on the territory of one of the ancient fortresses of Armenia, the Amberd complex, which was one of the major military defense strongholds of the kingdom of Bagratunyats and had the reputation of being an impregnable fortress due to its unique location and defensive structures.

Saghmosavank, one of the most prosperous and well-known spiritual centers of the Middle Ages, was the next stop, and on the way there, the students had the opportunity to take in Armenia's breathtaking natural beauty.

A lot of positive energy and the day's upbeat mood were guaranteed. There were poetry readings, musical performances, and dancing, all to the sound of a mysterious pipe melody. The gifted ISEC students shone with their diverse skills.

According to Lilit Adamyan, Head of ISEC NAS RA Public Relations and Career Department, the tour held in honor of RA Constitution Day marked the start of a new partnership between graduates and students that will last moving forward as part of the "Union of Graduates" initiative.
